1. From Langkawi to Koh Lipe (the easiest route)

1. Step 1: Go to Telaga Harbour or Kuah Jetty in Langkawi.
2. Step 2: Take a speedboat or ferry directly to Koh Lipe.
   • Duration: about 1.5 hours
   • Boats usually operate from October to May (during high season)

3. Step 3: Arrive at Pattaya Beach, Koh Lipe. You’ll clear Thai immigration at the beach before entering the island.

2. From Penang to Koh Lipe

• Option 1:
  • Take a domestic flight from Penang to Langkawi (30–40 minutes),
  • Then follow the same Langkawi → Koh Lipe ferry route.
• Option 2:
  • Travel by bus or car from Penang to Kuala Perlis (around 3–4 hours),

  • Then take a ferry to Langkawi, and continue to Koh Lipe.

3. From Kuala Lumpur to Koh Lipe

• Option 1:
  • Fly from Kuala Lumpur (KLIA or Subang Airport) to Langkawi (~1 hour 15 minutes).
  • Take the ferry from Langkawi to Koh Lipe.
• Option 2:
  • Fly from Kuala Lumpur to Hat Yai (Thailand),
  • Then take a minivan to Pak Bara Pier (~2 hours),

  • And finally a speedboat from Pak Bara → Koh Lipe (~1.5 hours).
